Pi Display OS
A modular information display for Raspberry Pi and HUB75 LED panels: clock, countdowns, holidays, custom messages and weather, configured from a web page.
See the aircraft flying over your house, with callsign, altitude, distance and heading, from your own ADS-B receiver.
Secure checkout. You get the download right after purchase.
Recorded from the shipped software in demo mode on a simulated LED panel, with demo data. Not camera footage of physical panels.
A Pi Display OS module that shows nearby aircraft: callsign, altitude, distance, bearing and speed, with an overhead-now takeover when something passes low and close.
The primary data source is your own ADS-B receiver (an inexpensive RTL-SDR dongle and antenna running standard open-source software), which needs no account and no internet. Online feeds can be added with your own access under each provider's terms.
Already running on our own setup. Proven doesn't automatically mean ready for yours: the status above says what's left.
Reads the local aircraft feed from dump1090/readsb. No account needed.
Takes over the display when an aircraft passes within your radius and altitude.
7500, 7600 and 7700 highlighted.
Software ready. Tested in software and simulation: installer, settings, every module, the web page and the MatrixPortal protocol against a simulated device. Not yet tested on physical LED panels by us; hardware results will be listed here once that test has been done.
Per-installation licence for personal use. Commercial venues (bars, offices, client installs) need a commercial licence. Commercial and installer licences are available on request. Full terms.
All updates within the purchased major version (for example 1.x). Major new versions may be a discounted paid upgrade. Current version: 1.0.0. Changelog.
Documentation, a diagnostics report and email support for the tested configurations listed on the page. Report a problem.
It's the recommended source: free, local and private. Online feeds are optional and use your own access.
